About us
Our story began in 2021 in a small 1 bedroom apartment converted studio in South Yarra. With one desk and next to no free time, between full time work and what started out as a little side hobby and passion project, The Flow State was born. Our passion
for creating, design and getting in flow brought our vision, and products, to life.
Our products bring together the finest materials with simplistic yet sophisticated designs to create versatile pieces that are made to last a lifetime. We believe in focusing on quality, care and transparency to create stunning bespoke Accessories and Jewelry pieces.
Inspired by travel, nature, coastlines around the world and the creativity we see everyday, each product represents what we love about the world we live in. We aim to be more of a community than a brand, that operates to expand and share creative flow, which is what we believe to be one of the most important energies in life.

Meet the Founder
Sarah started her journey in fashion and accessories in 2019, as a former fashion student she had always dreamt of starting her own label. Taking inspiration from travel, her love of the coast and her affinity towards jewels she started creating dainty jewelry pieces for her personal use. In 2021 whilst working for an Australian Fashion brand in the hustle and bustle of Fitzroy, Melbourne, these pieces started gaining surprising amounts of attention from customers asking where they were from and if they were available to purchase, it was a flow-on effect from that moment on, the seed had been planted and shortly after The Flow State came to fruition.
'It has always been a burning passion of mine to create - I've spent the majority of my life creating whether that be creating video content, photography, sketching and painting, styling, interior design...I have so many interests that sometimes I get a bit lost in it all. it wasn't until I started playing around with jewelry that I had an outlet to productively channel my creativity. I fell in love with the design process, the sourcing aspect, the fiddly manual labour was therapeutic to me and would calm my racing mind, even the challenges I've faced so far I enjoy.. it's all a part of the fun. Once you're in that flow state of creation it all feels so natural and easy - that's where all the magic happens, in the flow state. I put so much love into each piece and I'm so glad to be able to consciously create practical art that other people are able to love as much as I do!'

We are consistently wanting to expand our team in a number of different areas. We are currently open to hearing from Melbourne based retail sales assistants for our Market Stalls and Remote Photographers, Graphic designers and Digital marketing experts.
